Westchester Youth Economics is an independent public-interest project that makes local economic data and research more accessible to students, families, educators, and community organizations.
Economics felt most real when the numbers had an address.
Rent, home prices, commuting, college debt, inflation, and job access are not abstract chapters. They shape choices students and families make every day.
WYE was created to turn public data into understandable tools—and then push one step further: ask who benefits, who struggles, and what better questions the data allows us to ask.

Every major claim should identify its source, reference period, assumptions, and important limitations.

Tools and publications are developed around practical questions that people in Westchester can understand and explore.
